Yes, this is directed at someone. Yes, they should know who they are. Those who know me will know who this person is. I debated on whccther or not to post this, but then decided to take the plunge. So here you go, the undoing of the bond. No, it isn't in poetic form. Deal with it.
Lie
Your words weave a tale of love and lust,
Your voice wraps a web around those you want it around,
Your hands show the marks of battle and hard work,
And yet you are a different tale.
Your gentle touch says you hold love,
Your encouraging gaze pushes what should be,
The thought of you and the touch of our skins every night tells me that I am not alone,
And yet you bear a wrathful touch.
How gone are you,
When the lie you tell,
No longer holds back the truth,
When the love you claim no longer contains the urge.
When you think of me,
Do you still think of love,
Do you think of beauty,
Or do you yearn to run away.
